An API, either on the local network, or internet-facing, depending on the implementation. REST, MQTT, whatever, but I'd want to be able to monitor (at a minimum) and control (as a bonus) the EVSE. A well-documented and well-designed API will allow interesting DIY & 3rd party interaction to enrich the product.
